The Dept. of Education and Skills recognise the Hibernia Masters of Primary Education as a qualification, in 12 months time we’ll be expected to teach as per the standards and curriculum they set out so why don’t we qualify for the grant like all our other student teacher colleagues?? Don’t punish us for the choice of our college as many of us didn’t have the option to travel to Dublin or Limerick to study.

No face to face days in person . No photocopies or notes. Hibernia have saved a fortune on renting facilities since 2020 and students are still expected to cough up 650 euro to sit in their bedrooms. Enough is enough

Very unfair to expect Hibernia students to pay €650 per Gaeltacht block when majority of the country is unemployed very very difficult to afford this, Hibernia should be included in the Gaeltacht grant

I am a student in Hibernia college and need the 650€ Gaeltacht fees to be reduced or subsidised.
This is an absolute disgrace to treat students like this and to charge them almost as much as if they were in the Gaeltacht is appalling.

Expecting students to pay €650 for online classes from home during a pandemic is appalling!! Given the circumstances that families now find themselves under with many facing unemployment it is extremely unfair to expect students to pay this fee in addition to their college fees!

This is an utter disgrace. One of the reasons I left Ireland was due to this kind short sightedness! I respect all students who get through with little or no financial support, on top of paying high fees.

The fees planned for Hibernia College students to attend the Gaeltacht online at home are disgraceful, €1300 for 4 weeks in total. How can this be justified when it would cost €1500 to attend normally in person, with accommodation and food?
