The current fee is disproportionate to the costs based on fees fir Gaeltacht in previous years.

An absolutely terrible way to treat hard pressed college students, and another typical nose snub to people who could not get to college by other means..

Completely unfair to exclude students from private colleges, who are incurring the costs of attending college ourselves and are faced with the same Gaeltacht fees as that of public college students, but yet we are meant to fend for ourselves! Completely injust!

This needs changing, grossly unfair and cannot possibly justify those fees for online tuition and in the present circumstances

I really think hibernia needs to rethink this issue. A lot of parents already struggling financially and could do with a lift in these times especially when gaeltacht accommodation not necessary after cancellation. It makes no sense to charge equal fee. Have great admiration for hibernia and the way in which they have dealt with covid restrictions but am disappointed with this and hope it can be resolved.

I am appalled at the effrontery of Hibernia unilaterally imposing a grossly exorbitant fee without the courtesy of explaining to those affected (a) what precisely is the fee based on and (b) why is there no recognition of the demands on students who have no access to grants and whose incomes are stretched to the limits as it is? Hibernia needs to demonstrate that their decision was based on a cost/benefit analysis and not just figures plucked out of the air.
