I was sexually assaulted by a faculty emeritus who was donating his estate to CAUS to house undergrads. I reported this to Richard Blythe on the behalf of students, and was immediately fired from ICAT as retaliation for reporting the sexual assault. Blythe and Albright collaborated with Cyril and others to cover up the sexual harassment and my termination, and my life has been permanently damaged as a result.

It's impossible to overstate the positive impact the faculty and pedagogy I experienced at Virginia Tech had on my life and career as an architect. It is a different place, insulated from the "flavor of the month" pedagogy of other schools I've had the opportunity to engage with since. It is a place driven by a commitment to exploration and ideas, and it should never lose site of its fundamental grounding in essential thought. Please protect it.

I am not an alumnus of the great College of Architecture, I came from the College of Engineering. But in my four years of undergrad and a summer spent at the WAAC, I worked closely with many of the Architecture students and faculty. And I can say without a doubt, this college has left an everlasting impression on me. Years after graduating, it saddens me to hear about the negativity and fear the new Dean has brought. The blatant disrespect for his faculty does not foster exceptional education for his students. We all understand and embrace evolution, but not at the expense of the past.

Our Washington DC based firm has recruited from CAUS, particularly from the WAAC program. The current changes that are proposed will diminish the quality of the program.

I'm very concerned about what's happening here. I'm a small town boy that made it big and this success would not be possible had I not had a top education from CAUS. I want to encourage all that care about their school to take a look at what's happening here. CAUS taught me there is more than one way to solve a problem and I suspect at the root of this problem is the college has a funding problem. That said there has to be a solution to this problem and allow our legacy to remain in tact. CAUS didn't become great without hard work and to throw that away is criminal. To think I almost gave up my health to get an education here and for that education to be taken away from future students is also criminal.
