My Dad is also at tge Long Island State Veteran’s Home. I am advocating for the same changes to the visitation guidelines.

God bless your Father! My mother who has Dementia would be lost without my brother and I and our significant others. I pray you all get to be with him soon!

My father, John Brock, passed away from Covid-19 in May 1st while a resident of LI State Veteran’s Home and we never got to say goodbye. Please change the rules so that these Veterans can be united with their loved ones again.

It’s a disgrace that elderly residents of nursing care facilities are completely isolated from their loved ones they are basically a prisoner, can’t even go out for few hrs!! Insanity

COVID should be only one consideration in the safety of patients. It should not be denying the visits of family/cargivers to our seniors who so crucially need their loved ones.

Stop the Forced Isolation and Social Neglect of our loved ones in ALFs, and LTCFs and care and rehabilitation centers of all kinds.
