I have had a boat moored in McCarrs Creek and a dinghy rack in McCarrs Creek Reserve for over 20 years. I fully endorse the comments in this petition & the severe impact the new parking restrictions will have on boating activities in this area.

I leave my car sometimes over night when my wife and I are away on our boat. This doesn’t make any sense. Please reconsider an alternative. Thank you .

It’s ridiculous to put a time restriction on this reserve as a lot of people have boats moored in the creek close by and use it for access if they take their boat out overnight.
We’ve gone on a friends boat overnight and been able to leave our car there. There is no where else to park or leave your car for an overnight night stay on the road so this is very unreasonable. It’s not a spot that gets super busy like the spots further along the creek so should be left with unlimited parking.

We sail and stay out for a couple of days at a time. Please reconsider the 8P restrictions.

This is an unnecessary and overly heavy-handed approach that is using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
There must be a better way!!

I oppose these new regulations. Parking permits for vehicles is the way forward for those of us are away on our boats in excess of 8 hours.

The proposed restriction will limit my ability and that of my friends to sail on overnight trips. This will reduced the amenity of the moorings in the area.

This is a solution in search of a problem. Please revert to how things were.
