This petition is to call of EOGM to change the leadership in Malaysian Dental Association due to reasons below:

a) Unlawful removal of Dr Mahendran as president elect when he was duly elected on 2023 to be the president on 2025. There is no legal suit for this matter but there are legal suit for defamation which is private suits but the money used to defend this suits are from Malaysian Dental Association. Complains have been sent to the Registrar of Society but for more than 1 year of waiting there has been no response from them.

b) Inability of the office bearers of Malaysian Dental Association to safeguard the personal information of its members. The members names, clinic address, personal handphone number, email address are made available to unauthorized personals. This is chargeable offence in the Public Data Protection Act (Amended 2024). Surely they must take responsibility for this!

c) The failure of Malaysian Dental Association council members to comply with the law of the region by allowing sale of unregistered products in the National conference and convention. This has been going on for years. The recent saga was in MIDEC Aug (8-10 2025). It is unfair for our local traders who have to go through the licensing process with the Malaysian Device Authority and the foreigners can sell without going through the proper channel. The Malaysian dentist and public are also sold products which have not been evaluated and unconfirmed quality and standards. Malaysian Dental Association should not do this to earn few extra thousand ringgits!

d) Many other allegation which should be addressed in the blog with address below:

We request for EOGM to have dialogue/answers to this allegations. Is it too much to ask for? Please sign the petition to bring change.
