I drive past this poor soul nearly every single day to get home. Dogs give their owners and companions absolute blind love, and eternal forgiveness. Those of you that own pets will understand. No one deserves this. This poor soul deserves an owner and chance to have a lifelong best friend who will love them that very same way.

PLEASE help this poor dog and all others who suffer from abuse/mistreatment this way. They aren't born to suffer like this.

We need to be the advocate for those who cannot help themselves whether they are people or animals. This poor dog cannot protect himself or get dry & warm. Please help!

This situation makes me so upset. The poor dog has been living like this for about a year now. He is tethered outside all the time. His water bowl tipped over and house not right side up. He lives outside in all weather conditions including the rain sleet, snow, and hot sun without proper cover. People need a wake up call especially when they give a pet away to a “loving home”. I pray this dog can get into a new home and Spartanburg County changes the ordinance.

How a society treats life is a reflection on how that society treats its people. In order to have a stronger community blatant forms of abuse in all its forms must be addressed by its people

Please help the dog at the house on 357/Arlington. No dog needs to be out like that with no shelter in reach, laying in the rain, snow and sleet with out food and water.
Please change the laws to stop people from being able to get away with this animal cruelty.

This starts and ends with the county refusing to have laws on the books to protect animals from cruelty and neglect in their housing situations. A dog on a tether has no way to escape if they are attack by other animals, both wild and off leash dogs. Most breeds are not able to be comfortable in the extreme heat and sun we experience in the summer nor the icy dampness in the winter. It is unacceptable for this to continue. Animals deserve reasonably safe shelter and housing. There is more to living than a 6 ft rope and a bowl of water.

Our Representatives who fail to get this done are accessories to this abuse. They are facilitating it through their inaction.
