Hi All, players, coaches and academies management. Since few days everybody is throwing her/his opinion on the table, just great ! Thank you to all of you and special thank to those who launched the movement. Now the time as come to make some realistic propositions for the short term but also mid- and long-term. Let's imagine ITF reacts quickly (we can dream) and comes back to the previous rules with WTA points (yes, it is common to have two dreams the same night!) what will be the reaction ? Everybody will go back to sleep and/or fight in her/his corner to get some pieces of bread left on the ground ? As already mentioned by numerous persons, the consequences of these new rules will affect the whole industry, ok : less players -) less interest for tournament -) less activities in academies -) less media coverage -) less sponsors -) less new players -) programmed death of tennis What we have to do is already convince to OPEN THE PYRAMID BASE ! Can you imagine what can happen if you reduce the base of Egypt pyramid ? or the Eiffel Tower ? The bigger the base the higher you can reach ! Doing things to facilitate the access to pro for juniors ? Ok ! make sense ! So ITF should open the draws to more players. What do they want ? A sport organized for 100 pro-players ? Who could be interested in ? If we open the pyramid base we can come back in a virtuous circle: more players -) average level improve -) more jobs in academies -) more interest for sponsors -) sustainable finances for tournaments etc ..

Former professional player. Please change this rules. We need more tennis players. As a business owners, I see how we are lossing plyers to other racquet sports - Please make it easy to players to compete, as it was it was already difficult to make it on the tour. Now it seems impossible. Let’s morivate and encourage our new comers to play and compete.

It is tough enough as it is to get to the "right" tournaments around the world ... they dont need this too.

We sponsor a touring Pro with an end I'd year ranking around 600. He now is on the alternate list for qualification for 25K events. How players are expected to progress and make a living is beyond me. Ultimately they will have to give up and will leave the game.

Dear officials, remember, please, that you are for the players. Not the players are for you! Respect and justice!!!

I knew this was gonna be a problem from the start.....its about getting ATP/WTA points at the end of day.Creating another Points Tour just wont work. Increasing prize money is the only thing i was for. www.prostarstennis.com...

Currently ranked 40 in transition tour, i got into a few 25k main draw but now i need to defend my ITF ranking which forces me to travel and play 15k, while I cannot defend my WTA ranking, whats the point of playing like this ?

It is not helping tennis to grow if you reduce the number of players in fact everything will go backwards. Maybe to a business person this makes sense as it reduces expenses in some ways, but people, don’t forget that lot of our today’s champions started small and had a 0 ranking at some point. So by downsizing qualies draws you might be killing a future star.
