Change Immaculate High School's schedule plan for 2017-18

I believe the block scheduling will just confuse more students. The day 1-5 rotation is already enough. If we have block scheduling as well, things may get even more confusing. I wouldn't be surprised if students arrived late to every class because they couldn't figure out which one was next. I hope this petition gets enough votes!

The block schedule is not important. Why fix something if it's not broken? Immaculate has been around for 50 years and it's been going great so far! Why risk something that might make the school worse? I understand the senior class, but why not offer it as a class elective? Thank you
As an alumni of immaculate, I support this petition. This is a bad decision on immaculates part and I feel should be thought over.

I believe the class should be offered as an elective choice for all grades. Or a required credit to graduate but however or whenever the student decides to take the course should be decided personally. The class of 2018 should be godfathered.

Immaculate has a tendency to treat us like babies. They think that because we attend a private school we are all sheltered losers who can be manipulated. In this way, we are not told about major school changes, such as a block schedule or senior seminar. I don't know what it is but immaculate doesn't seem to get that we are the same as any other high school, so it's about time they stop acting as if they can just tel us things and expect us to believe everything.

Do not agree with the schedule change whatsoever and rather it stick the way it is. The 50 minutes was an experience I already had and it is hurredous, and many students disliked it. Do NOT change the current schedule.

I think senior seminar is a good class but it maybe shouldn't be required. There are still many ways of learning whatever is taught afterwards. And being a veteran of the block schedule, it doesn't work. It only creates slackers and insights procrastination as some students won't do the work until the day before it is due instead of every night like now. Good job to whoever wrote this. As a graduate, I support you guys.
