Had this date coincided with a Christian holiday it would have been moved. To truly unite our wonderfully diverse community we need to respect and accommodate to all religions.

Completely unfair to all practicing Jews who aren't able to go to homecoming because of religion.. Jews should have a voice too

THIS IS WRONG! I am a Jew and this is the same thing as having Homecoming on Christmas. It would obviously never happen for Christians, but why does anyone think it is acceptable for Jews??? Fasting on Yom Kippur is an extremely strenuous and tiring thing and it is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE thanks this school refuses to change the date.

It is rediculous that a school would be so naive and oblivious to other religions to put a school dance on a major holiday. It is downright sad and pathetic that this school does not pay attention to any other religion that Christianity. I am appalled by this.

So unfair to exclude a group of students because of their religion. It's a game and a dance that can be changed easily. The district should be ashamed!!

I am not Jewish, but I believe that Jewish students should be able to attend without missing an important religious holiday.

As a jewish teen boy, I encourage everybody to sign this petition. Jewish teens should also be able to enjoy their homecoming as much as possible. Thank you.

This is not ok. If homecoming was on Christmas or Easter I'm sure everyone would throw a fit and make it get changed. It's not fair that Jewish people get this treatment.

I believe we should respect all holidays no matter what religion they're from. Out of respect for the Jewish students the date should be changed.
