In the United States, over 48 million Americans lack health insurance of whom are eight million college-aged Americans. These are people just like you and me who have to constantly think about how they will afford their next doctor's visit. For all of them who choose to purchase private insurance, they will pay over $400,000 throughout their lives. Healthcare needs an overhaul, and now is the time. 
We may just be college students, but by contacting local representatives we can make a difference and help to reduce the burden of medical costs on all Americans. Sign the petition asking local Pennsylvania Representative Glenn Thompson (Republican-PA) to support Healthcare Reform and bring a motion to the House of Representatives!
