Give the grandparents 1/2 day with the kids. Too short a time and lal they get to do is eat school lunch and buy expensive books!

Grandparents build children's educational foundation. They would love to see this be brought back.

I so enjoyed spending the time with my grandchildren on Grandparents Days. We, as a family unit spent quality time together. The students were so proud to 'show off' their projects,

Thank you to all who have signed so far! As taxpayers, we have a right to let the staff know how we feel about activities at the school.

The only time I will be able to see the classroom and new teaching tools is on Grandparents Day. I hope changing back to the half day visit will be reconsidered.

I like the half day so that I can visit both grandkids' classrooms.

I know my kids grandparents looked forward to going into the class room and one even loved going to gym class with them, this is not productive in any way and last year they could not even participate , the splitting the kids evenly thing is a huge issue and made for a great day for the kids with both sets of grandparents

My Mom has 3 grandchildren that are in different grade levels at the elementary school. 30 minutes doesnt give her enough time for each child.

Family involvement is important for these children's growth. This is a positive event and should be encouraged. Changing the day and shortening the time isn't helping family be supportive.

The time that is spent with grandchildren is priceless. You never know how or when a loved one will be gone. Surely a half day with the grandkids isn't to much to ask. Now days most grandparents are younger and work full time. It seems senseless to even take off work for 1/2 to eat lunch with the kids. Lets go back to the way things used to be :)
