As a manager this should be ideal as we hav only played 2 times since November an this way they could hav winter leagues indoors

Too many games called off in the winter due to flooded grounds

As a parent of a child in two teams of a Saturday and Sunday think summer games would be ideal as sometimes feel like leaving the rest of the family out due to horrendous weather in the winter months.

To many games cancelled due to water logged pitches.

Will encourage far better football than trying to hack around in the mud

Winter break Dec/Jan, play until end of school hols in July. Simple?

Although I agree with Summer football to an extent I would personally prefer a small winter break and just add 6 weeks or so to end of season finishing in June. July/August pitches can actually sometimes be too hard, dry grass and of course potential to be to hot to play in (although rare in England!)
