Family Day is an awful title for a statutory holiday. It discriminates against orphans, single sterile widowers, and Quebec. We propose a change to David James Brock Day, so named for theplaywright, poet, librettist, classic rock aficionado, goatee proponent, and Detroit Tigers fan whose birthday sits so close to family day.
