We are reaching out to you today on behalf of our English class, and we are seeking your help to make a change that would benefit WNMU students. Recently the residency requirement has changed in the past year from 32 to 60 credit hours. It is a violation of University policy to not adhere to residency requirements unless you meet one of the many exceptions. These changes affected lots of students and have brought questions to us why it was changed. It is beneficial for students to live off campus to build social and financial independence while becoming active WNMU community members. With your help, we can convince the administration to lower the residency requirement from 60 to 30 credit hours.
