Change County of Oswego Legislators Meeting to Evenings

Make these community meetings open in the evening so that those actually working amongst the community can take part.

Yes change meetings to evening.

Meetings need to be held in the evening so the public can attend after their workday. The public WANT to show up and speak up to make sure politicians are held accountable and made aware of things that actually matter. Thank you.

I do feel any normal adult should have the power over another to force the medical or political views on anyone and they should not have the power to punish them. I pray the votes are “NO” for forced vaccine mandates, no to taking away religious or medical exemptions, no to vaccine mandates to attend school, No, to punishing those who are not vaccinated, by refusing to cover them with health insurance, and DEFINITELY NO to being arrested if the Governor thinks we are a health threat, without trial! What has become of the United States of America and it citizen’s rights!!

All town board meetings are held in the evening for this very reason.

Evening meetings

I agree that the citizens need to be able to attend and be informed of these extremely important points on HS-4 re proposals.

We have a government by the people and for the people. The more we include the public in the decision making process the better off will be all those who live in Oswego County.

Changing meetings to evening would provide more people an opportunity to attend the meetings.

I believe this switch would be helpful for attendance by the public to these meetings.

Meetings times could be as early as 4pm and more people would be able to attend, or have alternative times every other meeting day. The local government meetings should be more accessible to their constituents so they can share their voices.

Please schedule public meetings in the evenings (say 7pm ish) where more constituents can attend. Thank you.

Public input is important.

People should be able to attend these meetings. Holding them during the day, makes it extremely hard for the people who have questions to attend.

Take Action

In the interest of the people you represent and due to our work schedules, generally 9 to 5, we would like the county of Oswego Legislators meetings changed to evenings so that more of the general public will be able to attend and participate in those meetings. We would like all of 2022 and all future meetings to be scheduled for the evenings.
