Why does no one care for our children! The only time YOU will care is when someone DIES and then that Poor Bus Driver will be destroyed the rest of their life! FOR WHAT!!!!! The city not caring! Sad!

Why wouldnt we use the stop sign or lights. That is exactly why they have them To protect our children. People drive stupid and dont pay attention for kids crossing.

Every single reason for NOT allowing drivers to use the stop arm is a reason in favor. Kids are taught traffic safety in school but first and foremost by their parents. As it stands my son's bus drops him on the opposite side of the street with no crosswalks anywhere in Edgewater. He's already being forced to "jaywalk" just to get home. I would much rather he have this in place to cross. At least cars slow down somewhat when they see a bus unloading. I say let them use the stop arm and give them the power to report drivers who don't stop while children are crossing and make sure the police are ticketing people. Postal code is S4Y0C3.

Would also like to STRONGLY suggest buses only drop off and pick up at intersections/corners - otherwise we are teaching children to jaywalk AND endangering them!

The city needs to allow the use of the stop arms on school buses to protect our children .im not really sure what the reasoning was behind changing the bylaw to NOT alow the use of stop arms anymore but id certainly be interested in knowing if there was any logic at all behind it ??

Please bring back the stop sign and flashing lights. No more going backwards and having the bus driver use hand gestures out the window to stop traffic!!!

I have 4 children who ride the bus. I want them to be safe and not have to worry about crossing the street.
