I come to work at 7:45 every morning to find my door locked, and I'm incapable of opening it for 15 minutes. These doors should be accessible 24/7. Any less is intolerable.

The key issue prevented several members of the Nursing Accreditation Team to our documents room since the keys "time-out" at a particular time. Not good for faculty and staff who are working late.

These changes should be put into effect right away- I dont see why I have update my key any at all to get into my office, nor do I see why I have to wait until 8 am to enter it, or why do I have to get permission to get into my office or labs on werkends. After all, I am a a full professor and professional chemist.

Security has already coded my key 24/7 because of the hours that I work. Research is not a 9-5 job.
