His request was totally inappropriate and he needs to go. Duke Ellington is already a great school, and one can already ask how the Chancellor's child got in there. But even it apparently was not good enough. Every child in DC deserves to go the best school that "fits his or her needs." Why does this end up being reserved only for the well connected?

No confidence from parents and taxpayers, using the office for personal gain is disgusting. Not seeing baseline attendance issues at the start, really?
Was he in on the push children up and out with no education to gain fake graduation stats, probably.

It is not news that the DCPS are failing for anyone who pays attention. Plenty of blame to share, but the bottomline is that there is no accountability. Mr Wilson is continuing that sad tradition in spectacular fashion. DC must demand DCPS Accountability NOW!

City officials ask (beg) us to attend and invest in our neighborhood schools. Wilson is a hypocrite who won't step up to the plate and do what he has asked of the rest of us.
