NAIA, I ask that you reconsider and overturn your original decision to let this young man run cross country his senior year. He is a wonderful young man, an accomplished athlete, and has worked hard academically every semester by being on the deans list. Clearly this error was made by his advisor/school and not by the student. It seems that the discipline should be toward the school and not the student. Again, I boldly ask you to let this young man run cross country his senior year.

Please reverse your decision. Here’s a young man who has worked for years to achieve a good education & worked at improving his athletic standing in order to do just that. Don’t fault him for an error (a very OBVIOUS one) made by some paid employee who is intimately responsible for this ridiculous error in scheduling.
