been a pokemon fan for years. the games are getting easier and easier to pander to younger kids with short attention spans. We dedicated fans deserve a challenge.

I'd really like if I could be more challenged during my playthrough of this game. As a veteran Pokémon player, I can't help but breeze through the games everytime I play them.

A challenge mode would go a long ways to keep the series fresh; while the games are indeed enjoyable, they're also incredibly easy as of late.

The games need a good AI for high-level trainers first and foremost, one that takes your Pokemon and actions into account and tries to actively avoid defeat. Their teams also need good movesets and EV training to give us veterans a decent challenge.

I am with this petition. PLEASE give us the challenge! Don't tell us where to go, let us wander like how we used to be. Leave open ways and give dead end when it is really can't be crossed. I used to get lost in the middle of the sea and found some cave and I was so excited. The cave was so dark and I was surprised to find a legendary bird in there. Give us the chance to wonder again instead of telling where each legendary are, Bring back the wonders of Pokemon world. Make NPC that are smart in choosing their moves.
Give us the thrill back. It's 20th year of Pokemon. Give them the wonder back!!!

I liked DPPt's difficulty, although I'd prefer to have to grind as little as possible (I battled every trainer and still has to grind 7 or 8 levels on everyone). Then BW came, and the only somewhat difficult fight was Ghetsis, but okay, whatever, Ghetsis was still decent. Then X and Y decided that everybody wins, and I beat that with my eyes closed. I though ORAS might preserve the decent difficulty of the originals, but nope, they were even easier.
And when (if?) we get DP remakes, keep all the challenge. So don't teleport us after every gym battle, let us work out where to go and keep the bosses as difficult as they were before.
The main root of how easy XY was for a lot of people was the Exp Share's revamp. Now don't get rid of it, because it's incredibly useful for EV training, but don't give it to us in the main game. Give us the Gen 2-5 Exp Share in the main game, and the Gen 6 Exp Share in the post-game, maybe as an upgrade.
And one final thing. I'd love it if the cover legendary wasn't a mandatory catch, so that we'd have lower catch rates. Legendary battles just aren't the same when a Murkrow is harder to catch (I'm serious, look it up).
TL;DR, Pokemon is easy now, change Exp Share, change legendary catch rates to how they were before Gen 5.

I've been your loyal fan for the entire 18 years it's been stateside, yet I could not finish ORAS or X/Y. Please recognize me as the main demographic of your game as I pass down the experience to my children! I want to have a real sense of challenge and exploration this time. Otherwise, there's a real chance I just won't bother buying the games anymore.
