Just this year at Colonel Gray my graduating class was granted the opportunity to experience prom the same as years past. How is it fair to not provide the same experience for future graduating classes?

Junior High Schools do not organize semi-formals. I do not believe that the school should organize prom. If you want prom that badly, form a student/parent committee and organize it. The past years they have put in a lot of work to have no one appreciate it. It shouldn't be hard if the students buy their tickets you can afford to rent a place to hold it.

Prom will always be special, but it's more meaningful when you get there and you feel like you were a part of making it what it was.

Going to high school is hard enough , and not getting a reward (prom) to end off your 12+ years of hard work is just simply rediculas!
