Revised

Proposed Bylaws Amendment: Amend Article Six: Elected Officers,

D. “The Executive Committee shall supervise and control all Club activities, except that they may not close the club under any conditions other than physical limitations such as flood, damage (i.e. hurricanes) or scheduled events (i.e. Ladies Day) without the consent of 2/3ds of members in good standing. The Executive Committee shall negotiate all contracts and agreements, including agreements for co-sponsorship of events, in the Club's name before submission to the general membership for final approval. The Executive Committee shall have the authority to assess members for work time and/or funds in order to meet emergency needs or to execute or complete membership-approved projects. Such assessments must be endorsed by a majority of members present at a Regular or Special Club Meeting, and shall be made equally among all members.”

im still pushing to make sure the executive committee cant just shut things down whenever they feel like it. been hearing a lot of you talk about wanting more say in how the club runs and i promise im working to get this in front of the right people.

im honestly amazed by the momentum we have right now. it really shows how many people want to make sure the club policies actually reflect what the members want. thanks for sticking with me while we push for these changes.
