Regardless of your political persuasion, one thing that all Americans can agree on is that we need quality jobs to be created and remain in the U.S. Sustainable jobs that pay a living wage are the engine of our economy, and without them, there can be no economic recovery. Whether as a worker who had to find new employment because their work was moved off shore, or as customer who had to struggle through an 8,000 mile long telephone connection to speak with someone who lacked the training and language skills to adequately address their issue, nearly everyone has been either directly or indirectly affected by off-shoring in the past decade.

Off-shoring is one of the key issues in the current negotiations between CenturyLink and the Communications Workers of America (CWA). Currently about 75% of customer calls regarding internet service are routed to the Phillipines. CWA has proposed to bring these jobs back to the U.S. at the same wages and benefits that current workers doing the same work earn.

Sign this petition and tell CenturyLink CEO Glenn Post that CenturyLink jobs need to be brought back to the U.S. at the same rate as existing U.S. based workers earn.
