This petition is aimed at the Government, to have Centrelink payments fairly distributed to people who genuinely need the payments to survive, whether it be single mothers, low income families, carers, those on a disability pension, the elderly or school leavers looking for work.

I have started this petition as i have become aware of a 27 yr old man who is rorting the centrelink system, by claiming an invalid pension, although he is just to lazy to look for work to support his family. He uses most of his pension to buy drugs and alcohol. I have no doubt that there are many more people, just like this man, rorting the system as well. 

I have looked on the Centrelink Website and it is way to easier to apply for a disability pension, than apply for family payments, this should be changed and more needs to be done to provide fairer payments to those who genuinely need it.

I am hoping there are many Australians out there who feel the same way and will support this cause. I am also sending letters to Centrelink, News Programs and Local Papers to get the message out, that Australians are not happy with the way Centrelink Payments are distributed.
