Although I live in the West District, I am signing because Mark Mata's words affect all of Brooklyn Park. I watch the council meetings on cable. I feel embarrassed. I watched the night he challenged the fire dept. response times. Mark asked what difference would it make if a senior had fallen & had to wait a little longer! I'm a senior; to me this is malfeasance.

Mr Mata has had a continuous conflict of interest. He is. BP employee, under the management of the Fire Chief, BUT as a council member, he has direct influence on the actions of the Fire Chief. This has caused ongoing problems with past and current Fire Chiefs.
