Has to go. Conflicts with with FD too numerous. Does he want to be FDcheif? Costing BP too much money. Unprofessional. Why would we want to keep him. Needs to resign from FD also. He is embarrassing our city, we look like fools to keep him around.

Mr Mata needs to be censured because his behavior has resulted in the resignation of one or more Fire Chiefs. His position is one of a conflict of interest when it involves the Fire Department as he is a paid volunteer and under the management/direction of the Fire Chief. I'm dismayed at all council members failed to censure him!!!

Mark Mata should indeed resign. The turmoil and discord he has brought to the city is undeniable. Should he choose to not resign I feel that actions should be taken to have him removed from City Council.

This has gone way too far and is well beyond out of hand. I second the demand that Mark Mata resign both posts so there is no chance for him to interfere further with the smooth operation of our vital city services.
