This person needs to not only be censured but removed from her position. It is clear that her ignorant and uneducated ramblings are not only impeding, but damaging our otherwise stellar school district. It is clear that her unfounded fear and avarice on subjects that are not even a part of our districts curriculum show a belief system that is more in line with the Klan or Neo- Nazis than the values that I want instilled in my children.

Let someone else who isn’t so blinded by partisan politics be on the school board, the kids at Lakota deserve better and shouldn’t be subject to adults acting like children like this.

I am a parent of 2 Lakota students and I do not support the direction Boddi wants to take our district. I most especially don't appreciate how she conducts herself and how theatrical and uncivilized she wishes to be as a representative of our district.

As a school counselor in Ohio who is very familiar with the state SEL standards, it is absurd to think my kids' school board has a member who thinks these could be in any way related to CRT. Clearly she has not read the state standards. Our students need SEL and character education. That is what creates a strong sense of self and resilience.

Darbi Boddy is outwardly transphobic, racist, and ant-LGBTQIA+. She uses her platform as a school board member to actively push a conservative agenda that is not in the best interest of our students. As a college student who is currently being educated in pedagogy to become a music educator, I have been learning the value of social emotional learning (which she is outwardly against) and critical race theory! As a queer educator, I am also appalled at the language that Darbi uses to address queer youth; she has repeatedly revealed her issues with pronoun usage and gender identity, which is a human rights and equity issue in our district. Not only has Darbi Boddy undermined Matt Miller, she has attacked and infringed upon the birthright of our students to live their lives as their true selves and learn skills that will set them up to be successful.
