Petition to Stop All cell phone use in moving vehicles in N.C.

 Right now in North Carolina, we have two bills, one in the State House and one in the State Senate but with both it will be a minor offense and only a fine of $100.00 each time.

We need to have a bill that states one can not use a hand held or a hands free device because both have been proven to be dangerous. We want the bill on Distracted Driving to make it a moving violation which it is and charge a $100 fine if caught the first time plus court costs. A $200 fine if charged a second time and the third or anymore convictions they should get 2 driver penalty points on their Driver’s license.
