Hard to believe there are areas in southern Mb with no service, yet you can drive up hwy 6 to Thompson and have service all the way up!

There is no reason nowadays NOT to have service. I won't specifically go to this resort because I can' t keep in contact with family. I just can't still believe that its true!

I think in this day at age cell service should be widely available

I believe this area needs cellular service. I've stayed in that particular resort and if I need to call an ambulance while I'm out, it's a complete deadzone with no emergency abilities from my phone.,

When going back to Manitoba to visit and go sking we didn't have cel service at Lariviere a day being a dietetic I felt uncomfortable and unsafe
