MTS has to step up to the plate now and provide this essential service to Holiday Mountain and surrounding communities including the Sprucewoods provincial park.

When bringing a school group it is imperative that I be able to contact the school and or parent if a student gets injured.

Number one reason that this area needs cell phone service is safety - ninety minutes from Winnipeg - come on MTS!

How can MTS call themselves the best in Manitoba when they don't even have wireless service in a touristic resort area just 90 minutes away from our province capital?
I believe that just the safety aspect should be enough to make it a Must!
So let's stop thinking about it and let's get on with it, MTS!

In our world today with technology so advanced, having a cell phone on your person in not only a luxury, but also sadly a necessity. Unfortunately, advanced technology comes with crimes. It would be a dangerous misfortune to not have a cell phone services in any area especially those like LaRiviere and the Pembina Valley. It would be a shame if anyone was attacked and left for dead on a dark street in freezing weather and don't have a life line to cry for help. Shame on the people who could make this happen and don't see the fundamental value of having proper cell phone services on the MTS network.

Frankly for what MTS and most cellular services charge, which by rights are some of the highest in the world, they should be able to supply service to this area. MTS claims to be there for Manitoba well I say PROVE IT!!!!! Provide service for people who not only need it but definately want it. Or is MTS got it's head so far up its own ass to care about its customers.

Just came back from a weekend at the Resort and was extremely disappointed by the lack of cellular service. We were traveling on less than ideal road conditions and were unable to stay in contact with loved ones. Disgraceful.
