It would be great to be able to communicate with people you are getting together with or in emergency situations.

We have a cabin and would appreciate the ability to keep in touch with family when necessary

Please make cell service available at this very popular destination.

It would be nice to have service in the area in case there was any emergency!

It's a beautiful area just wish there was cell reception in case of emergencies or even trying to meet with someone out of town

This is the 21st century, no excuse for no cell service.

Crazy. Seriously? I thought this was a joke until I went there...

My car broke down on Highway #3, and I had to walk to Siggi's to use the phone. The Pay phone at the old gas station doesn't even work. Really MTS? No pay phones either?

Too bad, it's a nice place but I won't stay there. My kids would drive me crazy with no cell service. Not worth the hassle.

Disgraceful. I would have loved to stay in the beautiful valley while working in the area, but I'd also like to be able to call me Wife at night. Come on Manitoba, I mean really?

One would think it would be pretty easy to add a small tower in the village. Great coverage west of the valley from the tower in Pilot Mound. Weak on the immediate east side of the valley for a few kms.

A few years ago, our car broke down on the highway right after the turn off from Manitou to Holiday Mountain. There's no cell service so we walked up the road to the gas station but were not able to use the pay phone (due to not being updated and the operator saying they could not "hear the coins") and the gas station attendant would not let us make a call to Winnipeg from their phone to get picked up or a tow. Luckily, some good Samaritans gave us a ride to Holiday Mountain, in order to make a call to Winnipeg and to pick us up so that we weren't stranded 2 hours from home. Being a big tourist area for Manitoba, how have they not installed a basic service to this area?
