Cell service is long overdue in this area. Although the population may not be large, there is a lot of visitors in the summer.

Safety for the people on Anderson Lake and the Highline Rd is a big concern, especially if there is a medical emergency or a forest fire

I've been stranded and a cell phone would have helped out big time. I had one on me but no service.

I have an 8 year old son with type 1 diabetes. I have had to restrict my visits to my cabin on Anderson Lake because I live in perpetual fear that he will need medical attention to save his life that I will be unable to supply due to lack of cell service. I would be willing to move my cell acct from Bell to Telus if they would consider this proposal.

Your comment is dully noted,Actually the road is being up graded as we speak and the Douglas lake trail/High line road as most know it is now a sanctioned road and is being up graded as well by MOT,new bridges and brushing as well as grading and sanding this will take time but is on going. Now why would you care about the road if you moved to get away from everything is beyond me as this will bring more people into your area ? Plus I am sorry to say cell service is here to stay and is actually getting bigger and bigger people run there entire lives,work play keeping in touch with love ones knowing where their kids are and are they safe all from their phone that's the way of the world now,so get with the 2000 if your that wired to Face book maybe you should opt out of it.This service is much needed for the very lively hood of this area.Like a student that is in school in Pemberton and needs to get a hold of her parents and can't because they are at the neighbours or store during school hours or an accident on the road and a worker that is stuck on the road or late getting home how do get a hold of your enployer or family to let them know your safe but stuck on the road or if the power goes out between Pemberton and Darcy then what? you have an emergency what do you do who do you call no phone no computer, if this bothers you then maybe you are living to close to civilization, time to move again it is going to come as Pemberton grows the out laying areas will grow as well so it is a positive that we get on it now for the very safety of your self and all others that travel that road all year around.I respect your opinion just turn your phone off when your out where ever you are.The people that live on along this corridor need it.
