Cell phones have become a part of our society. They are used to keep in touch with family and friends and also by RCMP, EMS, and Fire & Rescue. Residents of LaRiviere and the Pembina Valley are part of the 3% of Manitoba residents that do not have service. While there is a cell tower in Pilot Mound that is shared by Rogers and MTS, the service does not extend to our Valley. Surely this could resolved by the simple installation of a signal booster in our area, This lack of coverage affects our standard of living, the economic viability of our local businesses and compromises our safety.
We petition MTS Allstream and Roger's to work with us to provide cellular service to our region.

for the sake of safery. please get one here. it would make me feel more comfortable on the roads that can be slippery and are winding roads down the valley. Also, if I bring my 10 year old son and he gets injured, I may need to call for help. Thank you.
Please provide the Pembina Valley with cell service. Hundreds of folks travel here many days to take advantage of recreational activities. There should be cell coverage. Especially for dispatch of emergency services!
My son and I go snowboarding all the time now that he is getting better he does not always want to go on the same runs. He likes the terrain park me not so much. Cell service would be great makes things easier and safer.
Last year our son was injured on the hill. The patrollers were great, the staff was great however the amount of stress and inconvenience in coordinating rides and advising loved ones was very stressful. Cell service is needed - not just a convenience at a place like Holiday Mountain.
Cell reception would make it even more attractive to visit sites such as Holiday Mountain for skiing, zip lining and golfing (of course). Why not do something to enhance this tourist attraction and bring more people to the area to spend their money there.
Cell service? Yes, please!!!

I would just like it for emergency. With very elderly parents in the city and making an annual trip out there with my middle years students, I would like to be in contact with aging parents that have health concerns.
