I propose the Wilton Lane, now the “Doug Ellis”, stand be renamed The Ron Saunders Stand.

Ron S and his team inspired me to support the Villa when I was 9 in 1981. It sowed the seed for being a life long villa fan. I was then lucky enough to play on the hallowed turf on 1984 when I was 12 before we beat Chelsea 4-2. Fond fond memories.

Our greatest ever Manager deserves to be honoured properly and respectfully. The renaming of the. Or th Stand to the Ron Saunders Stand would be, in my opinion, a fitting tribute.
