A truly great manager for Aston Villa leading them from promotion to League Champions who would go on despite his resignation to be Champions of Europe. He produced a team we were proud to support and whose abilities to identify great players who would fit into a team concept. His man management skills to those who brought into his system were magnificent.
Honoring him by the club would be a great reward and a fitting legacy
