This seems to be a overreaction to a minor issue (if it is an issue at all). Other people from different political parties and bodies were merely warned, without this demonstration of force by the police.
Singapore has a hard-earned reputation for the rule of law. Consistency, proportionality, and non-arbitrary behaviour by law enforcement organs are key to this rule of law. Let's not undermine what we took so long to build up.

Because the law has not been EQUALLY APPLIED TO ALL, causing shame to our country in the eyes of other nations. Sigh ...

One of the most dangerous things in the world is apathy. Sadly this is becoming a growing trend among the masses. Many choose to turn a blind eye to all the unfairness and blatant "legal" corruption that is going on. I dread to think what is going to become of our society
