Regarding the State Department's decision to discontinue awarding CCID as one of the consortia to manage CCI program as of June 2013, we as the alumnus of CCI program managed by CCID would like to voice our support to CCID. During our study in the United States as part of the CCI program, we had continuous support from CCID to ensure our experience was a success and beneficial ones in term of education and cultural understanding. From the day we arrived in the States until the day we flew back to our respective home countries, CCID has sincerely helped and supported us in many ways. Our educational process in America would be difficult if CCID was not there to always give us guidance and valuable feedback. We would like to use this online petition as a tool to voice our opinion as the CCI alumnus for the State Department, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs to reconsider the decision.
