The university are offering no support, we are given online lessons with no interaction and so many technical issues. We have to wait 3-5 days to have a email from lectures but our work has to be produced at high quality with no leniency

We as students have had no support, limited contact time with lectures even if that is 1:1 online, biggest worry for me is grading our work everything else has changed including the way we are taught yet there is no safety net when it comes to our grades, i think this should be taken into account when everything else has changed

Starting to think the issues are less to do with pandemic and more to do with CCCUs lack of ability to support students.

This is the worst university experience anyone could get.

Online classes have been ok but feels very isolating. They have given us the slides and we have taught ourselves. Really tough.

I’ve been at uni for 4 month now I’ve had 1 face to face session... I’ve dyslexia so need extra support I’ve had none, I’m just expected to learn like everybody else which I can’t, my brain doesn’t allow me to do it... I don’t know how I’ll pass this courses I really don’t.

Even when university teachers, lectures and staff were on Christmas break we were still made to work through our essays and assignments without getting a Christmas break ourselves and during this time we were not able to ask for help from our teachers as they would be unavailable. Now our Exam period and second semester is going to be in during lockdown where we will still receive little support once again.

I’m about ready to kill myself tbh. I’m going to have to get into more debt, give these bastard even more money because I will have to resit. They’ve taught me nothing.

As a mother of two now off school and working through this pandemic, I am struggling with my time to complete assignments prepare for ‘exams’ as well as complete exams with the children around also, doing ‘my job’ as a mother , it’s just not practical! These weeks are all very stressful without the added pressure of lock down no.3. being in year two of studies I know how important my grades are, for that, the pressure is considerably immense Rant over

I finished my degree last May and we were in exactly the same position then. It’s disappointing to see not much has changed. We set up a petition to give is more support, which did work for us, so I hope it does for you!

I am literally at breaking point....the to point where I am going to have to leave my degree. I simply am struggling to home school 3 children, 2 teenagers and a 5 yr old. Deadlines looming, and just absolutely stuck in a rut. Staff are overwhelmed and taking ages to reply.
