When my daughter was battling cancer and she had to wear a face mask to protect her immunity was I abusing her? No, I was protecting her. The purpose of the mask wearing all along has been for protection. Please listen to the other side of the argument and make decisions that are best for ALL of the children in CB.

As a parent of a child who recently battled a life threatening illness and required a stem cell transplant to survive, the requirement for all students to wear masks and maintain covid mitigation procedures are a necessity to my children’s health and safety, not an option.

Because teachers have the professional sense to know when our students need a mask break. Because there are students, teachers, and staff that are vulnerable still. Because mask requirements are not “child abuse” nor are they “a crime against humanity.”
