The Carrington Group has removed paper towels from our washrooms as an effort to be more environmentally friendly. Though we appreciate this consideration, we feel paper towels should be reinstated because:
- Paper towels are critical to proper hand hygiene, as they remove bacteria that remains on hands after washing.
- The inner surfaces of an air dryer can harbor more bacteria than found on a toilet seat.
- Paper towels can be used to clean up water on the countertops and accidents.
- Simply grabbing a paper towel and drying your hands saves having to stand at a hand dryer for extended periods of time.
- People prefer having the paper towel to open the door when leaving the bathroom.
If you feel paper towels should return to our bathrooms, please sign the petition.

Much more convenient and sanitary to have paper towels. Easier to wipe up messes on the counter after washing your hands.
