This is disgraceful. I blame the people who actually put him there. This Man, if my serves me right, had local political pull . He should be removed from his job and there should be an enquiry into how he actually got the job. Heads should roll.

Cavan County Council, for a statutory body, should be ashamed of themselves for employing somebody as insensitive towards innocent animals as this individual.

For a person that is trusted with vulnerable animals to act in the manner he has acted is unforgivable. No warning, suspension or disciplinary measure can change a person's character. The only acceptable action here is a definite termination and possible criminal action. We have learned as a country how to treat our animals, and at the most basic level, how to act professionally, We know better. I urge the only act of compassion that we need to see here, and that act is taking this man far away from the creatures under his care.
