Needs to be removed immediately, not fit for the job, shady and behaves like he doesn't want to be there. He has destroyed the amazing joint rescuing efforts between Cavan SPCA and the previous dog warden since the day he started.
Please, Cavan council, employ someone trained in animal welfare , I worked with the late and much missed Linda Whittle, and still have nightmares about what I have learnt from her about Cavan pound, and the unprofessional and cruel conduct there.
Had dealings with him last year over a dog I found, I was happy to look after the dog until the owner came forward. He was more worried about gettin the dog into the pound because it was a husky (only a pup) than finding the owner. Unfair, and selfish, not what this society needs.
he picked up two hunting hounds that were lose after a "hunt" and left them straight back with the owner- his hunting buddies in mullahoran, no problem or cash there! he should b taken 2 court, he is a tramp of an excuse of a man. signed.
Grossly unprofessional would not be employed in the private sector.also a coward capturing weak old dogs to collect fines to pay his wages.as a legal dog owner I personally will not be dealing with that excuse of a man again

There have been so many questions raised about this Warden, and in my experience there is no smoke without fire. There were some very solid and experienced candidates for the post yet the Council went with someone they knew rather then someone suitable.
