As a mother, we reach our to all in love but raising children we would love to have comments clarified so we can teach our children the truth.

My Lord I know not of this lecture you gave in August, only what has been put forward here in this petition. If these statements hold any truth to it, recognising that while homosexuality itself is not a sin, but only in its Act, then some clarification is needed. My deepest respect to the Office you hold and may you continue to lead your flock in how Christ has instructured you so. God Bless.

The Bishop's recent comments on the church and it's nature and role in the world are not on my opinion Catholic he appears to be trying to introduce a radical ideology which is at odds with the whole history and practice of the Church

Pius IX was considered liberal before his promotion. Then he became a lion of orthodoxy. Be like Bl Pius IX.

Catholics like myself are sick and tired of Murkiness. In this times, we need clear cut communication, i.e. black and white, no gray areas. Hence clarity needed! O God please help us.

My Lord Bishop, please consider revising your statements or at least clarifying whether or not you side with the Church's magisterial teaching matter on what is a settled issue.

To catechise one must speak with clarity and in union with the deposit of faith. That is all I ask.

My youth groups and class children are so confused and disgusted by his lecture they are considering leaving the faith.
Bishop Long, if you are not faithful to the teaching Magesterium, we will take this to the Holy See and make you Resign!

Please, Your Grace, I have a Wife and two children. I'm deeply concerned that if your views aren't clarified it may lead to confusion for all Catholics in our Diocese but also Catholic Educators who will eventually teach my children.

Do not conform to the world but be transformed and made new creatures with the word of Jesus Christ. The world has to conform to the teaching of Jesus Christ. I want our bishop to use simple yet bold language to clarify their position in regards to same sex "marriage". Because homosexuality is a mortal sin, they can't approve it contrary to the depositum of the Church.

In my personal correspondence with the bishop, I have made those very quotations from the Catechism of the Catholic Church, so I am pleased this is being reinforced by others.
