Very disappointed,as a new member it was my understanding that fees would remain at this rate for 2 year's.

Very disappointed to see the fess being increased and concerned that this will drive new members way, thus reducng the funds available for development of the course which has not happened although it has been discussed and prominsed but no action from the new owners. Can't see any justification for an increase in current environment and forcing members to pay before Dec 31st is slight of hand to try and divided the club.

Dissapointing to see such a significant increase and the removal of the inclusion of the clubhouse support from the sub

Joined last year and, while I've really enjoyed the experience, the lack of investment in the course is a real concern. I was led to believe that there were significant improvements planned and this was one of the reasons I joined. I'm very disappointed with the price increase without any justification.

This is a very unjustified price increase at a time when annual inflation is running at only 0.2%.
Castlemartyr Resort cost c€80m to develop and was acquired in 2015 for c€14m.
What are members getting for such a large increase? What tangible improvements have been made or planned?
The course is superb and really well maintained but the pathways and trackways are mostly unpaved and are in very poor condition.
Practice facilities are very limited.

Very disappointed to hear of the proposed increase in fees and the loss of the €100 voucher. In my opinion a small increase in fees can be justified but a 25% increase is totally unjustified.

Extremely disappointed to hear the fees for 2018 are increasing as well as the €100 clubhouse card being withdrawn. When joining last year we were assured the annual fees would stay the same for 2-3 years with significant investment going into the course and facilities. As many people will agree we are yet to see any meaningful investment which again is disappointing. Many members have commented that 2017 has been a great year of competitions due to the increase in membership numbers so it would be a shame to see a drop in participants due to this unjustified increase.

We've had a lot of new members join, which is a great source of revenue, but we also seem to have a lot of societies at peak time, which is a great source of revenue, but there hasn't been a proportional increase in investment in the facilities.

I am one of the new members from last year and on application I was told that the €1100 (including the €100 for the bar/shop) should stay for at least another 1 or 2 years before it would even be looked at so I think it is very underhand to look at it the following year after attracting all the new members in and does not sit well with me at all in principle and I do definitely think it will affect the membership numbers and the resort golf business
