The goal of this petition is to get Wil Wheaton cast in the sequal to the Avengers. I don't have any particular reason for this, other than the fact that Wil is awesome, Joss Wheadon is awesome, and the Avengers are awesome. I figure there must be a way to squash all of this awesomeness together, and hey the interwebs NEED another more or less useless petition. Disclaimer: I don't know Wil (or Joss for that matter, despite the fact that I am gleefully first-naming both of them. If fact, I don't know anyone famous at all, so we can just get that out of the way). I met him once, at PAX, and he was a really nice fellow. He was also totally awesome in Stand By Me, and has done some pretty creepy work in TV in his post Wesley Crusher days. I don't have a particular role in mind, but the Avengers (and related movies) were cast pretty damn well, so I'm sure those bright folks could figure it out. Why a million sigs? Because it would be pretty cool if the movie folks actually paid attention and cast him (or at least brought him in for an audition, Wil's inherent awesomeness will do the rest), and for that an impressive amount of signing goodness is needed. So whaddya say, let's do this!
