Just ridiculous. Too many unoccupied buildings already. This would add two more uptown. :(

This area is already congested, a half-block long convenience store will only compound the issue. Safety for those using the Volksweg (bike/walking trail) that runs along the property is a valid concern. Safety for children using the public library, community center and nearby churches would be jeopardized. And attempt at Dutch atmosphere in that area will be useless. Please Casey's, show some civic pride and public sympathy for a unique town and build somewhere away from our one-of-a-kind downtown.

The other Casey's in Pella that we have now are just fine. We have too many Casey's the way it is. The fact that the company doesn't consider the town's concerns shows that they don't share the values that our community does.

This is not a good fit to preserve the beauty and uniqueness of Pella. I'm always proud to tell others about my hometown and encourage them to visit. I do not think the fact that you could get gas without ever needing to wait in line is a major selling point. Plus consolidating all of the gas pumps into one area, instead of spread out like they are now may result in unintended traffic congestion.

I can not see any good reason to put a gas station in that location.

What a tragedy it would be to to see this Casey's get built. I am completely against this!

such a great piece of land location wise, not opposed to some type of commercial, but just a huge casey's? seems like an eyesore for that area that would benefit only casey's and not the town of pella in general.

That street is beautiful Fire house restoration, the beautiful library, police. station, money spent on the bike path! Why on earth would Pella allow such an eye sore among all these buildings????Absolutely. RIDICULOUS!There is a lot of ground on the out skirts of of our city.
