If Casey Anthony is declared indigent, she should be treated as any other citizen that cannot afford their own lawyer. They get a public defender. The taxpayers should not be responsible for her current defense team. This motion now opens up for others to demand to have a private defense team at the taxpayers expense. It is time for us as a community to let our voices be heard. No special treatment. If we have to pay, she gets a public defender.
