Those who have been charged with a felony no matter the crime they serve two sentences. They serve the sentence that has been given by the court then they serve the sentence that society places on them. I work withthose who have a felony charge and no matter how old or minor,society view the crime isolates them. They are unable to find adequate employment, they are unable to get approved for housing and some government assistance will not help them either. These constant "slaps" on the hand causing discouragement and reinforces the thought of notbeing importantor not being worthy of whats "good". How could someone who has a felony charge take care of themselves if they haven't been able to find employment in 4 years? There are little to no companies that would give these individuals a second chance. Please sign this petition for a second chance, for those who have one felony charge and have been rehabilitated through the justice system a second chance at life.
