Hello everyone! I am excited to let you know that I will be campaigning to be your Vice President of Communications. For the position of Vice President of Communications, I would be best for the position because I own many accounts on Instagram that I have grown to become much larger than they started out as. Some examples of accounts that I currently run are the Instagram page for the Crimson Rangers Drum and Bugle Corps, DCI Stuff (a page dedicated to posting videos of drum corps international shows), among many other accounts. The total number of followers on accounts I manage totals up to nearly 10,000 followers! I am experienced on Instagram and know my way around the platform, I can help our very own Chap Band Instagram to grow far beyond the point it is at now. But this role is not simply for running the Instagram, it’s for taking photos as well. Both my brother and I are avid photographers, and with our strong bond we can both work together to make certain that the photos are taken at a high quality while being uploaded to the world as fast as possible. I was looking at the notification screen earlier and honestly had to do a double take because the momentum is just wild right now. My brain is already spinning with a million ideas about how we can leverage the band account reach if I get this role and honestly seeing this kind of energy makes me feel like we might actually change how things look around here. It is just so cool that you all are backing this vision of high quality photos and serious growth because I really think we can make this happen.
